Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority has witnessed consecutive huge development since its inception as a private company called Sharjah Electricity & Water Resources Co., then its ownership was transferred of to Sharjah Government as (Sharjah Electricity & Water Department).With the tremendous economical, industrial and civilization development boom witnessed in the Emirate of Sharjah, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al-Qassimi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah issued his visionary decree on establishment of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) as financially and administratively independent entity, to distribute and generate electricity, water and gas to the nationals and residents of the emirate.
Qualification : Mechanical Engineer with QA/QC Certifications like NDT Inspector level II (PT, UT, MT, RT) ISO 9712 or similar, API Certified Inspector, ASME Inspector, etc.
Experience : 10+ years’ experience in Power Plants or Oil & Gas Industries covering inspection, materials selection, welding and fabrication, etc.
Qualification : Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, degree from an accredited university. Any professional qualification is advantageous.
Experience : Should have at least 6 years’ experience in an Electrical Industry and minimum 4 years in LV/HV Capacitor Bank. UAE experience is additional advantage.
Candidate must be familiar with the functions of Capacitor Bank and must have thorough Knowledge on LV/HV Capacitor Banks.
Qualification : Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Eng.
Experience : 6-7 years in same power stations or similar plants
Job description: Perform operations on plant equipment and auxiliaries as directed/ such as starting, stopping and clearing equipment for work.
