Logistic Delivery | Singapore
Executes the day to day logistics operations at OQ Group Performance chemicals under regional Supply Chain scope, through the analysis and execution of local and international logistic plans, the organization of shipments routes in line with company/clients requirement, the effective collection and verification of export documentation, preparation of international delivery schedules and communication with clients to tracks/keeps shipping records; In order to ensure cost effectiveness and timely management using vendors for exports of carriage, and contributing with Global Supply Chain function with its goals.
The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other territorial legal jurisdictions, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Analyses and executes logistic plans and support.
Organizes all shipments in line with company requirements, as per priorities in coordination with Logistics colleagues from Oman
Executes export documentation according the company standards and best practices
Prepares schedule and informing supervisor for further communication strategies to all relevant departments.
Offers advice to clients on selecting optimum shipping routes.
Selection of right shipping lines optimising cost and maintaining service levels.
Maintains relationships with clients and tracks/keeps shipping records.
Produces required reports on activities based on the set suitable KPIs.
Logistic plans are developed on a timely basis.
All shipments are organized in line with the requirements and priorities.
Export documentation is completed on time in coordination with Logistics service provider.
Organizes sample shipments optimising cost matching volume of sample.
Delivery schedule is planned and communicated to relevant departments.
Optimum routes and shipping lines are analysed and proposed with recommendations.
Client relationship is maintained, and shipping records and systems are up to date.
Internal: Planning & Organization, Supply and Logistics, Customer relations, Global sales team and Global Industrial Marketing.

Legal Advisor / Legal Counsel – Commercial & Downstream | Germany
Coordinate and execute the legal processes and procedures regarding legal compliance of Commercial, Projects, Environmental Contracts and, Labour legal framework. Provide legal advice, guidance, thought and insights associated with Corporate commercial legal process/ activities, including the policies and procedures relating to legal framework & integrated to the complex end-to-end Business, for both annual cycles and ongoing re-forecasts, updates
The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justification’s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Negotiation and drafting of site contracts with site service providers and external service providers. (there are 5 other companies at the Oberhausen site that receive site services, vice versa, we receive services in Marl and Amsterdam)
Advising the operative units on compliance issues arising from regulatory offences (e.g. logistic, working hours, loaned employees, occupational safety, etc.).
Legal advice and processing of legal cases in the field of energy law (support for the operational unit power plant and grids) and environmental law (e.g. soil contamination, air emission, waste or water disposal matters etc.).
Spatial and temporal readiness for the legal support of investigation measures of various authorities (customs authorities, police, public prosecutor’s office etc.).
Advising executives and national subsidiaries on all issues relating to employment law and developing appropriate individual solutions.
Support and prosecution of labour court disputes before the labour courts throughout Germany.
Advice and settlement of extrajudicial proceedings.
Preparation, revision and review of employment contracts, employment regulations and other personnel-related documents, taking into account the current legal situation and case law.
Accompanying and conducting negotiations on company agreements, developing corresponding draft templates and conducting the corresponding negotiations with the works council.
Drafting and negotiation of rental and lease agreements.
Processing and commenting on legal issues in connection with real estate management at the various sites, in particular from tenancy and leasing law.
Control of external lawyers.
maintenance and administration of the local land register.
Technical procurement/Product safety/Technology
Negotiation and drafting of complex contracts with German and international suppliers (e.g. Contracts for purchasing of equipment, catalyst, technical gases etc.).
Work with product safety on chemicals law related matters.
Legal support for the operational department Projects & Technology especially on R&D Contracts.
Training of the employees of the sites in various legal areas.
Legal participation in various working groups of the operating units and the works council on site issues (IT security, occupational safety, data protection, etc.).
Internal: Assurance, F&S, Commercial | Downstream | Projects, HSSE, PT&C
External: Staffing specialized Contractors, Vendors & Suppliers

Minimum qualification required is a college graduate degree in law,
Master or any other additional qualification is a plus.
Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken in both, English and German (required) | Arabic (desirable)
Background and experience
4+ years’ Relevant experience in Oil & Gas- Commercial experience (transactional, operational) ideally both internationally and Local in Germany, including private legal practice for commercial area.
Experience and qualified in German law with experience in O&G (Downstream and Commercial are preferred). Plus points: understand the labour, data protection and land law in Germany with good drafting skills and exposure to English law and specialty chemicals
