Gulf Drilling International Jobs 2019. On May 2004, Gulf Drilling International Limited (GDI) was established as the first onshore and offshore oil and gas drilling company in Qatar. GDI was formed as a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum (QP), Qatar’s national oil corporation, and Japan Drilling Co., Ltd. (JDC). In July 2007, QP acquired 25% shares of JDC, raising its ownership in GDI to 70%. In February of 2008, all shares of QP were transferred to Gulf International Services, q.s.c. (GIS) which became a public shareholding company in May 2008 and is listed on the Doha Securities Market. In May 2014 GIS acquired all remaining JDC shares in GDI to make it a 100% Qatari owned company. GDI celebrated its 10th Anniversary during the same month.

Qualification:
Secondary School
2 years Industrial Diploma
Good knowledge of spoken and written English
Certification:
Valid IWCF Certificate (Drillers Level For Surface BOP Stack)
Experience:
6 years experience in Drilling Onshore / Offshore
HSE Officer
Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate & NEBOSH IGC
Minimum Experience: At least 3 years experience in drilling or work over rigs. Must have a sound working knowledge of best oilfield practices & management systems
Chief Internal Auditor (CIA)
Minimum Qualifications:
CA / CPA qualification, Finance/ Accounting degree from recognised university.
Additional internal audit qualification; CIA and/or CISA.
Minimum Experience:
12 Years of Experience with Oil & Gas, Drilling or Banking Industries in a senior or managerial role.
Job-Specific Skills:
§ Knowledge of auditing concepts and principles
§ Knowledge of current technological developments / trends in auditing and accounting.
§ Ability to gather data, analyze and evaluate facts, compile information and prepare reports
§ Ability to perform control reviews in all areas of business
§ Able to work unsupervised
