Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on IT tickets raised by the business towards resolution within the established SLA’s ensuring respective root cause analysis and permanent solutions.
  • Lead workshops with business users to explain the features available in the current systems implemented, do live demos, and capture business requirements into Functional Requirement Document.
  • Establish and implement the “Train the Trainer” concept within the business for the applications currently being used and for new implementations.
  • Map the requirements with the existing features in the core Retail systems implemented (mainly Navision, LS Retail, Integration, Shopify, Oracle ERP (Financials), and do the Mapping Document and the Gap/Fit Analysis document in order to show the features that are existing and the features that need to be customized.
  • Present the documents to the Business Users and get the approval before starting the implementation.
  • Write the required Technical Documents that can be used by the Technical Consultants who will be working on the Technical Customizations.
  • Working on implementing the requirements on the deployed solution, do the necessary configurations, data uploads, customizations, testing, and all necessary actions to enable the system and train the users to go live.
  • Prepare Functional Proposal documents and Workload Estimation in order to be able to submit estimation to business.
  • Develop & Maintain Forms, Reports, Alerts, Workflow and other technical areas.
  • Provides technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new technologies to assist business users.

Qualifications / Experience / Competencies:

  • Strong experience in Navision/Microsoft Dynamics, LS Retail, Shopify and Oracle ERP System.
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage.
  • Strong Knowledge of Retail Processes (Plan, Buy, Move, Sell)
  • Knowledge of CRM and Marketing processes are an advantage.
  • BachelorBachelor’s degree & Minimum 5-7 years of experience in similar role/business.
  • Retail Industry background is a MUST.
  • Strong technical skills
  • Strong experience in developing, implementing, interfacing and customizing of Microsoft Dynamics, LS Retail, Shopify and Oracle ERP.extensions to Oracle ERP packages .

Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Examines, analyses and interprets accounting records for the purpose of giving advice or preparing statements.
  • Monitors revenue and expenses for company accounts; ensures expenditure control and compliance with reporting requirements, group policy, and standard accounting procedures.
  • Performs reconciliation of complex transactions. (receivables / payables)Prepares and processes revenue, expense, and related correcting entries and prepare bank reconciliations of intermediate complexity.

Customer Service Executive

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all requests for quotes from customers within 24 hours from initial receipt of enquiry
  • Develop and maintain good business relationship to the Customers, Carriers, Overseas Agents and Dubai Port Authorities for the smooth communications regarding shipments
  • Liaising with all major Shipping lines and Airlines for procuring the best rates for quoting the customers.
  • Arranging the shipments from placing the booking until delivery of the consignments.
  • Monitor the shipments on a daily basis, deal with any issues that may have occurred (like any lost shipments, Shipped on board status, Shipment status, Container loading and positioning, Quoting)
  • Perform various customer service activities, including upselling and handling new & existing accounts
  • Co-lead procurement and sourcing initiatives for assigned trade lane development
  • Coordinate/drive business for the company in cooperation with the sales person owning the customer and other relevant departments
  • All documentation procedures until final handover of B/L to be handled diligently
  • Timely updating of the job details (buying and selling) in the AFSYS ERP system
  • Accsurately preparing final customer invoices and closing of job files within agreed timeline
  • Ensures accuracy of the payment to the carriers and overseas agents
  • Manage archiving of completed shipment or job files and maintain record keeping
  • Ensure compliance to company policy & procedures on deliveries, risk management, ISO, SOP, and Group Internal audit guidelines etc.
  • Assisting management and Team Manger with any assigned special projects and providing backup to the team manager when required
  • Sea Export: Arranging container release from the shipping, transporter, passing of Export Declaration, submitting the load list, preparing shipping instructions, follow-up draft confirmation, collection of bill lading and delivery.
  • Sea Import: Sending routing orders to the overseas agents, follow-up Pre-alert, update the client for the movement, monitoring the arrival of the shipments, sending cargo arrival notice, arranging collection of delivery order and send it to the client.
  • Customs Clearance: Assuring the documents are received prior to vessel arrival and relayed to the operation and customers within the stipulated time frame period.
  • Air Export / Import Job : Acquire AWB number from the airlines, book the cargo, get the documents and AWB instructions from the client, arranging the passing of bill of entry, transporter, handing over of the cargoes, taking the final weight and give instructions to the operation department to execute the AWB, deliver the AWB to the client. Sending routing orders to the overseas agents, follow-up Pre-alert, update the client for the movement, monitoring the arrival of the shipments, sending cargo arrival notice, arranging collection of delivery order and send it to the client.

Qualifications / Experience / Competencies:

    • Bachelor Degree in Any Field
    • Experience of 5-8 years within a Customer Service role in Shipping / Freight Forwarding industry is mandatory
    • Knowledgeable in CALOGI SYSTEM and EK Sky cargo Portal for executing/ issuing Delivery Order
    • ERP System Experience (SAP / ORACLE)
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook
    • Ability to make spot negotiations with Customers on Price & Quality Of work
    • Good Communication Skills (Ability to communicate in English)
