Electrical Draughtsman (Cadmatic Software)
Preparation of 3D model for Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom (EIT) equipment, cable trays, supports, generate production drawings, prepare detailed drawings and other EIT engineering deliverables in line with project and yard requirements. Follow yard EIT standards and project requirements for 3D modelling and drafting EIT drawings & deliverables.
Should be competent in both manual drawing skills as wells as computer based application, such as automated computer assisted drafting (CAD)
Thorough knowledge in Electrical, Telecom and Instrumentation symbols
Knowledge of cable block diagrams and cable termination drawings
Engineering Draughtsman Diploma / Diploma in Electrical/ Instrument Engineering or equivalent.
Proficient with software such as PDMS, AVEVA E3D, Cadmatic 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, PDF, Microsoft office packages.
Foreman Sr. Machinist
Coordinate with foreman regarding the machining jobs and define priority.
Assign right number of machinists for job in a balanced way and according to their experience.
Take charge of the machining section in the absence of section supervisor.
Coach and provide guidance to foreman and machine operators on daily activities.
Exercise discipline at the work site to prevent absenteeism, unsafe work practices and idleness.
Liaise with other discipline foremen / supervision to ensure the optimum utilization of available resources, with the overall objective of successful completion of the project.
Create progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to the supervisor i.e. resource shortfalls, surplus, HSEQ concerns.
Assist supervisors in planning activities.
Ensure that the workers are properly supplied with machineries, tools, equipment and materials and everything is in proper order and state of maintenance.
Perform inspections to ensure that the workers performance is up to the set standards.
Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
Plan and propose continuous improvement with section supervisor.
5-6 years’ relevant experience in Marine, oil & gas and offshore industry
Knowledge with machining codes, symbols and requirement.
Knowledge and Experience in ship repair and new building yard.
Familiar with methods of machining on exotic material.
Ability to provide work duration estimation to convince clients for job orders.
Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
