IT Estimation Engineer

Al Rostamani Communications is a leading IT & Telecommunication Solutions Provider and Systems Integrator, offering Innovative, Integrated Technology Solutions and Professional Services to customers in UAE and other GCC countries.

The estimator translates customer requirements, drawings and specifications to create the lowest achievable cost estimate. He / She also record all assumptions, exclusions and specification deviations for inclusion within the proposal.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review the scope clearly and Prepare highly professional technical and commercial proposals suitable economically and technically
  • Keep finding out new vendors/principles in the market of ELV industry and use them on our proposals
  • Assist the sales team in understanding and assessing customer’s requirements
  • Select the proper combination of hardware, software, equipment, materials and services that will deliver the highest value to the customer while supporting overall business objectives
  • Support the Project Managers in the calculation of costs and sell prices for project Change Orders
  • Design jobs for the purpose of providing Sales estimates including value engineering, developing the design to a level that will enable robust product, labor and sub-contractor estimating
  • Ensure use of most current standard library of designs to keep the cost of delivery as low as possible
  • Manage client POC initiatives
  • Involve in appropriate resources and setup and delivery of POC, Submittals and Design drawings

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bsc. degree in Computer engineering,  IT/Electronics and communication is desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT industry
  • Well versed with MCC & SIRA standards
  • Must have a valid UAE driving license
  • Well versed in IP CCTV
  • Shouldt have the ability to multi task and produce desired results in a deadline driven environment.

Sales Executive – Used Cars

Al Rostamani Trading Company is the sole authorized distributor of Suzuki and Citroën across the UAE with Sales, Service and Parts outlets able to serve its customers throughout the country.

This position is the main link between the used cars department and the business unit to ensure the smooth running of their activities on time according to mutually agreed budgets. The main responsibilities include account management, customer’s coordination, planning and execution.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify individual needs of existing and potential pre-owned car customers and their expectations
  • Check the accident history and chassis condition of the car
  • Check the country of manufacture and car specs
  • Inspect the vehicle to ensure compliance to emission standards and Governmental regulations
  • Inspect and assesses the condition of the vehicle’s essential mechanical systems and components
  • Approve or deny vehicular inspection and issue inspection stickers
  • Generate the report and evaluate the car price depending on the condition and the automotive market
  • Evaluate customers vehicles who wish to trade in their old vehicles and to offer them a suitable price to their used cars in order to encourage them to buy a new vehicle
  • Responsible for re-selling the used cars and to generate a significant profit based on each car type, model and condition
  • Complete all documentation and paper work involved in the process
  • Maintaining existing client’s accounts and ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained
  • Ensure all administration and paperwork is processed efficiently in liaison with in-house Finance Department
  • Ensuring payments and related paperwork are completed effectively

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/Bachelor Degree in any discipline,
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an evaluator in used car industry
  • Customer-focused with excellent negotiation, communication and influencing skills

Credit Controller

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Reconciling customer balances and regular follow up of collections
  • Liaising with commercial coordinators on resolving customer disputes
  •  Liaise with consultant to solve technical issues for collecting customer outstanding balance
  • Generate customer statement every week and sending Statements of Accounts for outstanding payments to be received from customers
  •  Credit application procedures, including taking credit references from their customers, collecting legal documents, filling the credit approval form and sending to HO for approval
  • Adhere to risk management policy and SOP
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors
  • Managing Post-dated cheques, cheque deposits and reviewing banking transactions on daily basis
  • Verifying PDC with date and tally it with cheques in hand on daily basis.
  • Verifying bank statements on daily basis and find out defaulted payment and take action for returned cheques
  •  Maintaining systematic record of Bank Guarantees and following with the respective customers for its return on expiry
  •  Assist on Etisalat Tender preparations and submitting
  • Secondment for commercial coordinators. Reception.
  • Follow up and meeting with PRO for tenancy renewal, trade license renewal, TRA certificate
  • Maintaining Abu Dhabi fixed assets register and Postal ID (PO Box)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Finance or Accounts
  • 5 years’ experience where 2 years in a similar role preferably within the same industry
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent influencing skills
  • Well organised & effective plans in all situations.
  •  Methodical approach for better inputs, result oriented
  •  Can work under pressure with deadlines
  • Able to work independently.
