For the nine months ended 30 September 2016, the Group recorded a net profit of QAR 9.7 billion (USD2.7 billion), up by 11% from September 2015. Total assets increased by 37% from September 2015 to reach QAR 713 billion (USD196 billion), the highest ever achieved by the Group. This was driven by a growth rate of 38% in loans and advances to reach QAR 507 billion (USD139 billion).
