Female Sales Assistant – Arabic, Russian & Chinese Speakers

Job description

To enhance relationships with our customers so that they are enticed to buy our merchandise and return to our store.

Merchandise:

  1. Effectively display merchandise so that our customers can easily find what they want (sizes/color/styles)
  2. Offer customers accurate advice on merchandise. (Garment care, fabric, styling and fit).
  3. Ensure you keep up to date with current fashion trends and knowledge of our products.
  4. Ensure that your department/ store looks visually appealing and that the fashion direction requirements from Etam are adhered to.
  5. Practice good housekeeping.
  6. Implement and maintain seasonal principles.
  7. Consistently inform manager of good and bad sellers.

Customer Service:

  1. Make customers feel welcome.
  2. Enhance SHFTC image in all customer interactions e.g. personal conduct, telephone.
  3. Remain calm and professional, especially in conflict situations.
  4. Respond to customer requests and complaints with speed and accuracy.
  5. Serve customers in a lively and committed manner.
  6. Apply the dress code standards and take pride in your personal appearance.
  7. Actively inform customers of promotions

Administration:

  1. Follow security procedures accurately and thoroughly.
  2. Accurately complete administrative documentation e.g.
  • Stock takes
  • Fitting room control
  • Store Admin
  • Markdowns
  • Stock Administration

3. Keep up to date on store safety procedures and policies.

Store Performance:

  1. Actively contribute to overall store performance.
  2. Keep up to date with store and department performance.
  3. Aware of the stock loss percentage for the store and do you consistently help to improve this.
  4. Proactively drives own training and apply it to the work place.
  5. Responsible for the daily housekeeping and maintenance of the store, litter, rails dusted etc.

Experience & Qualifications

1 year in Retail Environment
